The C6 Envelope probably the most popular size in the Greeting Card & Wedding Stationery industry, but what is so hot about it? It’s great on postage costs. It’s larger than a Sentiment Card, yet not as imposing as a C5 and it accommodates the vintage A6 Postcard, which is making a return.
So, are envelopes decreasing or is the envelope and the tangible, touchable, interactive Card and Envelope still as flashy as a PC E-Card once was? Either way they both end up in the trash file but lets face it, it takes more effort to write a card and envelope and there’s something a little more warming about receiving something you can physically hold and that’s not even beginning to talk about the luxury foil stamp or what an embossed logo or pic can bring to the party.
So, yes we think the C6 is still in the running. The Gift shops are still supplying them, the Card industry still need them. Businesses still love them and that’s why… We still make them!
